Therapies & Interventions
Because every child experiences the world differently, we offer a specialized range of therapies to support emotional expression, systemic regulation, and cognitive growth.
Music Therapy
Music Therapy is utilized as a powerful therapeutic tool to address a wide array of behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
For many of our students, it provides a crucial and entirely non-verbal medium for expression. It naturally helps to regulate mood, reduce anxiety, and remarkably supports both fine and gross motor skills through rhythmic activities and the exploration of instrument play.
- Non-verbal expression
- Mood regulation & calming rhythms
- Fine and gross motor skill enhancement
Art Therapy
Art Therapy offers a beautiful, creative outlet that is highly valuable for children who frequently struggle to articulate their emotions verbally.
Engaging in tactile art-making processes actively helps to regulate sensory responses. Furthermore, it inherently improves hand-eye coordination and acts as a massive driver for building inner confidence and self-esteem as students witness their own colorful creations.
- Articulating difficult emotions
- Tactile sensory regulation
- Building immense self-esteem
NET & Fun Cookery
Natural Environment Teaching (NET): Rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this intervention methodology utilizes highly natural environments—like the home setting, the classroom floor, or a working kitchen—for authentic learning situations.
Fun Cookery (A NET Application): We involve the students in sensory-friendly cooking using step-by-step visual photo instructions. We use adapted tools like non-slip bowls and easy-grip spatulas. By incorporating social cooking groups and fun taste-testing stations, we greatly encourage our students to explore new flavors and textures safely.
- Learning in natural, realistic contexts
- Adapted tools for accessibility
- Social interaction and safe sensory exploration
